Abstract length

  • Provide an author-written abstract of no more than 150 words.
  • Two files must be submitted at minimum: Manuscript – Anonymous – Title, Abstract, Keywords, Manuscript body, References.

Manuscript structure

  • The manuscript should be double-spaced throughout, including indented quotes and endnotes.
  • Authors must retain full records of the methods undertaken, including full descriptions and records of the prompts used, which must be shared with the journal upon request.

Language and text style

  • Spelling and hyphenation should follow the Macquarie Concise Dictionary, 7th ed. (Sydney: Macquarie Library, 2017).
  • Use a full stop after an abbreviation (Vic., ed.), but not after a contraction (Mr, Mrs, Qld, eds).

  • Do not use any full stop with abbreviations that consist of capitals: (NSW, ALP; also BA, PhD, MA), nor with their plurals.
  • Use single quotation marks for quotations; within a quotation use double quotation marks.
