Abstract length

Figure and table rules

- Colour charges Authors should restrict their use of colour to situations where it is necessary on scientific, and not merely cosmetic, grounds.
- All research studies on humans (individuals, samples, or data) must have been performed in accordance with the principles stated in the Declaration of Helsinki.
- A declaration must be included within the submission stating: Originality and accuracy of content has been confirmed by the authors.
- Authors must provide full methodological details and adhere to relevant reporting guidelines where applicable.
- Authors must retain the original and revised versions which must be shared upon request.

Language and text style

- Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text; acknowledgements; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figure caption(s) (as a list).
Manuscript structure
- Footnotes should be indicated with lowercase superscript a, b, c, etc. (uppercase superscript A, B, C, etc. are only used for indicating statistically significantly different data).
- Although the Introduction should be concise it should be useful not only to those who are very familiar with the topic of the manuscript but also to non-experts.
