Supplementary material

  • This upload should be a new version of the existing record and include a clean and a tracked-changes version of the revised manuscript, updated supplemental materials and any other changed elements, and a comment-by-comment response to the feedback from referees.

Article type and manuscript length

  • To enable refereeing, figures should be of sufficient resolution to easily discern their content, paragraphs should be readily discernible and 1.5x or 2x line spaced, body text should be font size 11, and lines and pages should be numbered.

Manuscript structure

  • Research Article: Authors wanting in-principle acceptance of the final Research Article, as per Registered Reports format submissions, must include methods and the analysis plan.
  • Authors are required to make the data and materials supporting the results or analyses presented in their paper freely available.
