Abstract length

  • Provide an author-written abstract of no more than 200 words.

  • A short paragraph should be placed before the references.

  • Keep every figure and table numbered, captioned, and cited in the manuscript. Keep figures embedded; Articlo also extracts numbered source files for the package.

  • If the work involves the use of human subjects, the author should ensure that the manuscript contains a statement that all procedures were performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
  • If the author discovers or is informed by a third party of a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her article, the author must promptly notify the journal editor and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
  • Use unicode fonts for phonetic symbols.
  • Do not use double hyphens.
  • Em dashes should be used sparingly.
  • If they are present, they should denote emphasis, change of thought or interruption to the main sentence and can replace comas, parentheses, colons or semicolons (see Punctuation above).
  • No space should surround the dash.
  • Do not use a comma for a decimal place.
  • The translation should be set in roman and placed in square brackets following the original title.
  • Place of publication: Publisher.

Authorship and originality

  • All authors must fit within the journal's definition of an author, available here.
  • Any attempt of plagiarism should be followed by the rejection of the submitted manuscript.

Manuscript structure

  • Note numbers in the note section should not be superscripted 1.
  • A clear introduction section should be given that allows non-specialists in the subject an understanding of the publication and a background of the issue(s) involved.

  • Submissions must be made in English.
  • With abbreviations, the crucial goal is to ensure that the reader – particularly one who may not be fully familiar with the topic or context being addressed – is able to follow along.

Submission forms and permissions

  • Permissions The author is responsible for obtaining all permissions required prior to submission of the manuscript.
  • Permission and owner details should be mentioned for all third-party content included in the submission or used in the research.
