Abstract length
- Provide an author-written abstract of no more than 200 words.

- In French titles, normally only the very first word (including where this is a definite or indefinite article) and any proper nouns should be capitalised; all other words should be in lower case.
- Access dates are not required unless no date of publication or revision can be found Where date of publication is given access dates are not required, but should be retained when supplied by the author, e.g.: Dorling, Danny.
- Include indication of source type.
- Where this name includes a particle, e.g. de, then the item should be included according to the following name, thus Simone de Beauvoir should be referenced under Beauvoir, not de Beauvoir.

Authorship and originality

- British English spelling should be followed throughout, thus ‘harbour’ and ‘colour’ rather than ‘harbor’ and ‘color’, and ‘familiarise’ and ‘empathise’ rather than ‘familiarize’ or ‘empathize’; ‘colonise’ and ‘decolonise’ rather than ‘colonize’ and ‘decolonize’, etc. • Any shorter quotations (less than 3 lines long) should be given in single quotation marks ‘thus’.
