Abstract length
- The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions, both in English and Romanian, and shall be up to 200 words.
- A concise and factual abstract is required.
Keywords
- Provide up to 8 keywords chosen by the author.
- Provide a maximum of 8 keywords, avoid general and plural terms and use only abbreviations firmly established in the field.

Figure and table rules
- Keep every figure and table numbered, captioned, and cited in the manuscript.

- However, do use bold face, italics, subscripts, superscripts, etc. Do not put figures in the text, instead, indicate their approximate locations directly in the electronic text and on the manuscript.
- The figures are required to be inserted with captions at the end of the manuscript (JPEG/TIFF) with high resolution.
- Tables shall be numbered with Arabic numerals in ascending order of their occurrence and shall be accompanied by a concise title of the table and possible explanations.

Funding statement
- All sources of funding for the work should be acknowledged on the title page, as should all institutional affiliations of the authors.
- Whether or not a conflict of interest and financial support exist, they must be declared at the ICMJE Conflict of Interest form as well as at the end of the manuscripts.
Competing interests
- Add or confirm the author-written Conflict of interest statement; Articlo flags it if author input is still needed.
- Such conflicts might include, but are not limited to, shareholding in or receipt of a grant or consultancy fee from a company whose product features in the submitted manuscript or which manufactures a competing product.
Ethics statement
- Add or confirm the author-written Ethics statement; Articlo flags it if author input is still needed.
- Human studies must be performed with the subjects’ written informed consent.

- Studies on patients or volunteers require ethics committee approval and informed consent, which should be documented in your paper.
- Therefore, identifying information, including patients’ images, names, initials, or hospital names, should not be included in written descriptions and photographs.
- The authors shall respect the principles of ethics and scientific truth in executing the study, attaining data and presenting the results.

Title page and author information
- Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name, and, if available, the e-mail address of each author.

- One Author must be clearly indicated as corresponding author (* as footnote on first page) and it is compulsory to indicate e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers with country and area code.
- The article title, in English, the complete name of the authors, academic degree, their affiliations, corresponding address and the key words – both in Romanian and English – of the article shall be mentioned on the title page.
Reporting guidelines
- Should the article be approved for publication, the date of the issuing shall be communicated.
- In particular, do not use the word processor’s options to justify text or to hyphenate words.

- The texts sent for publishing shall be reviewed by 2 referents, with no knowledge of the authors.
- The number of the referred image shall be inserted into the text between round brackets (E.g.: Fig. 3).
- Authors must agree to the following statements.
- The reviewers’ recommendations shall be conveyed to the authors in order to modify or adjust the article (if necessary).
- Rejection of the article shall be motivated and sent in written to the authors.
- The unpublished manuscripts shall not be returned to the authors.
- The articles shall be signed by all the authors.
- All the authors shall sign a declaration regarding the conflict of interests and their contribution to the paper.
- The financing sources of the study shall be mentioned (where applicable).
- For the denominations of drugs or other substances used within the studies international common denominations shall be used.
- The devices utilized in studies shall be presented under their commercial name, specifying the producer.
- The occasional thanks for collaboration shall be inserted at the end of the paper.
- The images shall not be inserted into the manuscript, but presented separately.
- Electronically, each image shall be sent separately, as image file (JPG, TIFF etc.).
- The images shall be numbered with Arabic numerals in ascending order of their occurrence.
- Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible.
- However, they cannot take place at any stage on the editorial decision of their manuscripts in order to minimize any possible bias.
- In the event that a member of Editorial Board is made aware of any allegation of research misconduct the Editorial Board shall deal with allegations appropriately, asking the authors to retract or to correct the article if necessary, after asking other reviewers to analyze the paper in question.
Preprints and prior publication
- Include or confirm the preprints and prior publication required by the journal. Articlo checks this item and flags anything that still needs author input.
Article type and manuscript length
- The main text is required in DOC file (Word 97-2000) with the tables included.
Language and text style
- The abbreviations shall be defined on their first use.
Manuscript structure
- Each heading should appear on its own separate line.
- Articles concerning human or animal research should comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and this must be stated in the methods section.
Authorship and originality
- Plagiarism and falsification in any parts of the submitted paper are serious offences to the scientific community and must strictly be avoided.
- All submitted manuscripts are screened with plagiarism software (SemPlag) at least two times during the evaluation process to detect instances of overlapping and similar text.
