Author contributions

  • One author must be appointed by the authors as corresponding author; they will be responsible for communicating with the editor and co-authors about revisions at all stages of editing and final approval of the text, proofreading, and completing the Author Publishing Agreement.

  • For manuscripts that enter peer-review, usually at least two reviews will be obtained prior to a first decision.
  • We aim to ensure that rigorous evidence- and rights-based analysis is used to inform advocacy, policy and practice, and that articles bring together the diversity of voices and perspectives from around the world, with emphasis on those working at grassroots level and in resource-limited environments.

Preprints and prior publication

Study reporting guidelines

  • SRHM publishes unstructured abstracts, but the main elements of (structured) abstracts described in the relevant EQUATOR Network guidelines should be included.
  • Authors must provide full methodological details and adhere to relevant reporting guidelines where applicable (e.g. CONSORT-AI, STARD-AI, GAMER, TRIPOD-AI, etc).

Manuscript structure
