Abstract length
- Provide an author-written abstract of no more than 350 words.
- All articles must have a brief abstract (no more than 350 words ) that states the purpose, basic procedures, main findings and principal conclusions of the study.

Figure and table rules
- Keep every figure and table numbered, captioned, and cited in the manuscript.
- Figures should be high quality (1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale and 300 dpi for color, at the correct size) but less than 40 M pixels.

- All figures must be numbered in the order in which they appear in the paper (e.g. figure 1, figure 2).

- Figures should be supplied in one of our preferred file formats: PS, JPEG, TIFF, or Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX) files are acceptable for figures that have been drawn in Word.
- If tables or figures have been reproduced from another source, a letter from the copyright holder (usually the Publisher), stating authorization to reproduce the material, must be attached to the submitted manuscript.

Manuscript structure
